Our 808-812 Tottenham Road project involved the restoration, redevelopment and extension of two neglected Grade II*-listed Georgian townhouses in Tottenham to create a creative business complex of artists’ studios, exhibition space and landscaped grounds, which forms part of Tottenham’s Paxton 17 Creative Quarter.
The Tottenham Paxton 17 Creative Quarter was designed to coordinate improvements and regeneration along the Tottenham High Road Historic Corridor, with the buildings becoming an exemplar of high quality and sensitive restoration of the local heritage, which the area will benefit from investment and growth as a result.
Our scope of works included façade cleaning using a super-heated steam cleaning system, sympathetic brick and stone repairs, replacement of defective masonry, localised repointing, new stone flooring in the café, and new stone paving, steps and ramps across the front and rear gardens.
