Copthall House is a Grade II-listed building located at 14-18 Copthall Avenue in the City of London’s financial district, just a few moments from Liverpool Street and Moorgate Stations, which underwent a major refurbishment to provide high-end commercial office and workspace with internal upgrades, a shared roof terrace, and sustainability-led extensions.
Following cleaning trials and samples to establish the most responsive method, our Heritage Division undertook façade cleaning using the TORC system by Stonehealth to the principal, historic façade comprising Portland stone on the upper levels and granite at ground floor level.
We also conducted a façade condition survey and detailed our findings on a comprehensive report for essential repairs required that were then carried out using traditional methods and appropriate materials.
